Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski called for a rapid ceasefire in the Black Sea on Friday during a two-day meeting of foreign ministers from the Group of 20 (G20) major economies in Atlanta. He emphasized the need to ensure safe passage for grain shipments from both Ukraine and Russia, highlighting the importance for people in developing countries who rely on these food supplies. Sikorski also stated that Russia must end its war against Ukraine before resuming energy sales to Europe. During the meeting, he stressed the inclusion of Ukraine in any efforts to resolve the conflict and called for a "fair end" to the war before allowing Russia to sell its energy products back into Europe's market. Poland was invited to attend this G20 gathering by the US host nation, which proposed including Poland as a full member alongside other European powers like Germany and France.
