The Canadian Crime Stoppers Association (CCSA) has advised its chapters to accept tips by phone only after a massive data breach at Navigate360’s P3 platform in March. The CCSA now asks the public to call 222-TIPS for anonymous submissions, marking a shift from previous guidance that encouraged confidence in Navigate360's security improvements. This interim measure aims to allow local programs to receive tips without using the compromised P3 platform. For paused programs, local announcements will detail when telephone reporting resumes.
