Quick Summary

In Thursday’s episode of the BBC reality show "The Celebrity Traitors," comedian Tim Vine was voted off after admitting he was a traitor but wanted to be faithful throughout the competition. During a roundtable discussion following Sharon Rooney's murder and Joanne McNally’s banishment, Vine explained his situation and expressed reluctance over being labeled as a traitor despite his efforts to support the faithfuls. With only three episodes left, the remaining contestants are James Blunt, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Michael Sheen, Romesh Ranganathan, Sebastian Croft, along with traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny, who will compete for a £100,000 prize pot to be donated to charity.

Story summary

In the latest episode of The Celebrity Traitors, comedian James Acaster was unexpectedly banished after revealing he was a Traitor during a heated roundtable discussion. The bombshell admission came as Acaster faced mounting suspicion and received the most votes for elimination from his fellow contestants. On Thursday night, the show saw intense drama when Acaster admitted to being a Traitor against his will, leading to his immediate expulsion. This revelation threw the competition into chaos and left viewers shocked.

The BBC has since emphasized that the welfare of all players is their highest priority following such emotional scenes. Actress Sharon Rooney was also murdered earlier in the episode, adding to the tension. The controversial confession by Acaster may now give the Faithfuls an unexpected advantage as they prepare for the final showdown against Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny.
