An empty WestJet Boeing 737 collided with a catering truck as it was being towed from a gate at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Tuesday around 8:15 p.m. The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) confirmed that the aircraft, which had no flight crew or passengers aboard and was merely being repositioned for overnight parking, sustained contact with the catering truck. WestJet stated in an email that only a winglet of the plane made contact with the parked vehicle. No injuries were reported, and while the TSB is gathering information, it has not deployed any investigators for further assessment.
