A trial date has been set for seven individuals charged with vandalizing Donald Trump's Turnberry golf course in Scotland. The accused include Kieran Robson (35), Uzma Bashir (56), Ricky Southall (34), Autumn Ward (23), Rebecca Sian Davies (29), John Moxley (58), and Dylan Chiaramello (25). Prosecutors allege they dug up turf, sprayed harmful substances on fairways and greens, painted offensive slogans, damaged a sprinkler system causing flooding, and broke a light. The indictment claims the offenses were "aggravated by reason of having a terrorist connection." Judge Lord Arthurson set a preliminary hearing for March 15, 2027, and a full trial starting on February 14, 2028. A pro-Palestine demonstration with about a few dozen people was held outside the court during the virtual hearing.
Prosecutors also allege they painted “political and offensive” slogans on the grass, scored a political slogan into the turf, and painted “political and offensive” slogans on the building, walls and pillars.
It is also alleged they damaged a sprinkler system causing flooding, and damaged a light.
