At the first hearing of the case last month, prosecutor David Burns said Levy was finishing a meeting with Belmarsh guard Paul Dunne when he allegedly 'attacked him with a pen, stabbing him multiple times to the arm and neck'.

Levy, formerly of Tottenham, north London, was handed a whole life prison term in August for murdering grandmother Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo, 53, and mother-of-four Sheryl Wilkins, 39, last year.

Emboldened, that night Levy raped and almost killed a prostitute, breaking her collar bone before raping her while he suffocated her with one hand squeezing her neck and another covering her face with a finger down her throat, leaving her near death.
