Ahead of the historic NFL game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints set to take place on Sunday at Stade de France in Paris, some players' wives and girlfriends were spotted enjoying the city despite ongoing riots. Nikki Jordan, wife of Saints running back Alvin Kamara, and Chanel Iman visited EuroDisney, while Kamara himself was seen at the Adidas Arena watching a basketball game between Paris Basketball and Valencia Basket Club. Meanwhile, other players' partners engaged in various activities: Avree Anderson, girlfriend of Saints tight end Noah Fant, tried smoking for the first time and indulged in champagne; Yazmina Gonzalez, girlfriend of Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler, dined at an upscale restaurant called Lafayette; and Steelers safety Jaquan Brisker opted for a meal at McDonald's. The players were present amid concerns about public disturbances affecting their travel plans and events leading up to the game.

Why this leaning score

This article does not take a side on a contested political question, so it has no leaning score. That is an answer rather than a gap: a match report or a rescue can be warmly or critically written without being left or right, and scoring it anyway is how approval of a subject gets recorded as a political position.
